Seen plenty of dept store bikes with fake adjustment knobs on top. Just plastic caps with nothing underneath.

also to OP:
No, there is no adjustment on that fork.

just use 10spd chains on all his bikes.

they fit just fine on 6-7-8-9spd sprockets, since the narrowing of the higher speed drives is in chain plates and rivets,...

I don't like cheap suspension forks because they are heavy, ineffective, add slop to handling, etc
especially the case on hybrids that don't need it in the first place
...

alpha-3000 6speed shifter (really any suntour 6speed accushift), will index a shimano 7speed cluster if it is connected to a shimano derailer. The index 'clicks' just happen to line up...

why should the weaker frame that has no cargo or accessory capacity cost more? Its a wierd market.
