The Trek Checkpoint "strangle hold" should work....

The Trek Checkpoint "strangle hold" should work. I have an ALR5 converted to ss. The carbon ones should work too. May be a wait to get a new frame.

I upgraded my SL5 to the Paradigm Elites and am very happy with them. Just that change reduced wheelset weight by 1.25 pounds. Bike feels less sluggish and wheels seem yo spin up quicker. YMMV

Well, to each his own though it did reduce the bike weight by 1.5lbs over the stock on the SL5. That's why if a Checkpoint is the choice, the SL6 for $300 more is a better value based on the wheels...
