I use Crank Brothers Double Shot pedals on both...

I use Crank Brothers Double Shot pedals on both touring bikes. The flat side has nubs vs pins so it is kind even to soft flip-flop soles; OTOH not super-grippy...I don't hop off curbs for instance.
