Hey Nofx,
I have the same bike as 2k2s4. The only paint missing on mine in on the tips of the fork, where she goes in and out of the rack in the back of my truck. True, it IS too soon for that to be happening. But it's not bad. Ive only had her a month though. |

My friends give me a hard time because this is my first road bike. When they ask me what I will do when I want a better bike I tell them that I'll still be riding it 10 years from now! |
Drool....Litespeeds :)
I wanted a Litespeed....but then I suddenly realized I'm an unemployed first year university student. |
Somehow my picture didn't upload.
Well being the tight-wad that I am it took me a while to decide to spend the money. My reasoning was that if I bought a cheap bike I would spend more money in the long run by upgrading it or buying a better one later. That's what happend with my first mountain bike. I bought an intro level bike and 6 months later I was buying a full suspension bike. I wanted to just avoid that this time around. I understand the unemployed part. Although I'm employed now I figured I'd better buy the bike I want while I still have a job since I'm in the tech field. |
I got my new road bike today! Wooohooo!
10 speed Record. Weighed in at 16 lbs. 7 oz. as pictured. Took just over 9 weeks to get here. http://www.sunflower.com/~rorwig/ima...nnondalesm.jpg |

Originally posted by firebolt Am I seeing a slopping tube on a cannondale  . I thought cannondale cursed compact frame. They even have a webpage for it. ... or your house is not level :) My other road bike is a custom frame by a frame builder in Ames, Iowa named Jeffrey Bock (made in '88). It also has a sloping top tube and it's Reynolds 753. I guess it comes with the territory when you're inseam challenged. |
