The annual Katy Trail Ride has been cancelled. It was to be my 9th straight year. They hope to have the ride next year. It might take that long to get the trail back into shape.

Yup, I hate to see that great trail flooded out. I’m just wondering if the western part of the Katy is good to go. Like from Booneville to Clinton?

That trail seems to have a lot of bad luck. I've only ridden it once, 2 summers ago, from East to West, and at that time there were several stretches closed, due to trees being downed by the wind.
I remember there's a killer chicken place in Jefferson City, but they had a tornado this year, so I "hope" it's still there. 🤔😉

If it had killer chickens, I certainly hope it is no longer there! ;)

LOL, I set myself up there. 🙄😁 I can't remember the name of that place now, but it's a notch or two better than KFC, plus they have really good sweet tea. 👍 Which is important in the summer. 😎

Yes it is. I've read posts from people who have done it recently. Also the Rock Island Trail is ride-able. Here's a good resource for the Katy Trail.
