2002 Litespeed Ghisallo -- 9mm diam BB hole normal?

Here's a shot of the BB shell drain hole on a 2002 Litespeed Ghisallo. It measures ~9mm diameter.

I'm used to seeing a typical ~3mm diameter BB shell drain hole on late 90s - early 2000s Litespeed road bikes, or at least typical of the ones I have.
Photo below is a 2001 Litespeed Vortex.

Concerning the Ghisallo, is this a big deal, little deal, or no deal at all?
Why the abnormally large opening on this frame? Or maybe a previous owner did it for some reason and the frame wasn't designed this way?

After about twenty-four hours of continuous navel contemplation, I usually feel the need to pore over a bike to question the diameter of each hole. Unfortunately I never seem to get past the urge no matter how many good answers are offered.

Of course you can have it welded up and re-drilled to any size you might like.

Condensation drain holes are a feature , not a flaw.. problem is: worrying too much.

Thanks. It's curiosity, not worry. I've seen larger total area openings on steel frames, but this was unusual for Litespeed frames and wondered whether there might be a reason for it.
I recall Litespeed marketed this frame at the time as the lightest production frame on the planet. Maybe it was the larger diameter hole that made the difference between lightest and second lightest. ;-)

Update: Here's a photo of another 2002 Ghisallo sent to me by its owner. BB drain hole is in the same place and the same size as the one in my frame.
Apparently this was standard for that frame.

Ha! Maybe one of those gangstas from Seven or Merlin?

That's odd. None of my three Litespeeds (1996 Catalyst, 2005 Firenza, 2006 Tuscany) have anything but a small (~5mm) drain hole in the bb shell just in front of the cable guide.
