Greetings from Indianapolis

Hi everyone, I just moved to Indianapolis a year ago and the area is so friendly for bicyclists I decided to take up the sport again after 15 years of no riding. My only regret is waiting so long!

So far in my stable,
1998 Bianchi Campione
2018 Salsa Marrakesh
2011 Cannondale CAAD10 5

Welcome. You’ll find some serious Bianchi lovers here too.

Welcome, from the fair and sunny burg of Bloomington 60 miles south of ya! Try spending some Friday nights at the Major Taylor Velodrome on 38th street. Some of bike racing at it's finest. Smiles, MH

Nice way to start back into riding. Enjoy and be safe out there.

Welcome from SW Ohio. There's a pretty good group of folks here from Indiana.

Welcome to BF.

I grew up in Indy; back in the late 70's and early 80's there were a handful of us who commuted downtown. There was hardly a bike rack to be found and bike lanes were a pipe dream. Things certainly have changed.

Cheers

Thank you! Sounds like a lot of nice people in general.

I’d love to check it out! I need to do some more riding in your area. I took a 27 mile ride around town there and down to Lake Monroe, it was beautiful!

I definitely have no point of reference but it’s incredible now. The Northern suburb of Carmel has over 200 miles of paved trails so there is always somewhere to ride.
