CF bars...brand and size?

kraftwerk 02-24-20 11:40 PM

Hi Bruce,
Bars are marked SS for 'short & shallow' notes printed on bars:
Drop :128 mm
31mm Clamp
Reach is 84.5.
Width 44cm - 40cm C to C
(all this information is on the bars themselves )
internal cable routing
Quality seems pretty fine
also in fine print: "Zipp" but only in really tiny letters somewhere,
There is No "Zipp logo"
& there are some misspellings on the warning label..
Carbon Fiber drop bars, never used, nor mounted, nor built -up $40 Super-light!

I will add all this info to the listing, Thanks!

kraftwerk 02-24-20 11:44 PM

m, sasso, yes will do... I should have a picture around here somewhere...

Hi Kraftwerk - great collection of bits will look if any that I need, but I also just posted in appraisal forum question about the above pantographed stuff - have full crankset and wandering if that is really so rear and valuable?

GLWS

kraftwerk 04-18-20 09:09 PM

Is it rear? Well I usually put the crank in front.. Okay seriously, I don't think they are impossible to find but they ' trade ' at this price often enough so is reasonably priced, yes.
Consider the labor which goes into creating one of these and the skill, especially with 1970's or 1980's technology.
One could certainly make these today, water-jet-cut / laser-etch etc. You would need a chainring to start with and probably a bit more money than this is priced at.

Here is an unknown imprint on a Campy chainring for sale on ebay as reference: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Cam...EAAOSw6DtYSK9l

PS. N.O.S Regina Chain w/hollow pins and Olmo bar-tape are spoken for ..

Kekec1965 04-19-20 02:39 AM

Yes, good point, made me giggle my own misspelling :) Thanks for your reply. Not being an ar.., but you do have an eclectic selection of bikes, and one of them needs name 'adjustment' LOL, same as the ring on sale.

Checked your bits for sale, what are those downtube shifters please?

JeanVend 04-19-20 08:04 AM

nice pieces:thumb:

Yea, too bad it only took him 3 months to post a picture of a chainring, if you dared to purchase any of these parts who knows when you might see them.

Just a friendly reminder this is a for sale site, not an auction site so you need to put a price on the items. it is already in the valuation site , so I would wait to get a fair number and then post if you want to.
Create another thread if desired.
Best, Ben

kraftwerk 04-21-20 09:01 PM

Hey Ben, : Prices are listed in the original post! When I finally posted a "decent" picture of the chain-ring
I neglected to repeat the sale information which is already in the original post at the top of the page.
But maybe I will go through and make sure every picture has a price, a bit redundant, but makes good sense, Thanks!
True there are about 10 items on the table in that first post which haven't been mentioned by me ( for now ) or anyone else,
so let's ignore them for now, shall we? Only selling the things with prices, ignore the other stuff, for now thanks!

NOTE: I will post more components and more items next month, with better pictures.
The place where I store this stuff will be accessible to me towards the end of May. Can't get there at the moment.
So if you keep that in mind, we can work something out.
I have been cycling for 45 + years and seem to have accumulated a great deal of interesting/eclectic stuff. Time to asses it all...

@m_sasso : easy bro....

Hi are the forks still available? Do you know what shipping would cost to Las Vegas, 89179?

Thanks,

kraftwerk 04-22-20 08:16 AM

Hey Mr. Awesome, Thanks for you inquiry. I will look into getting an exact shipping quote to you. USPS is usually the least expensive way, if that works for you.
Sorry for this situation BUT there is a 3 week delay in getting to my storage facility and being able to ship this stuff out. If we can 'circle back' in three weeks,
I will keep you ' first in line ' ...sorry, but the situation is demanding and beyond my control right now. Stay safe.

I understand. Just keep me posted.
Thanks

Mountain Mitch 04-29-20 07:55 PM

Can you post a close up of the Campy SR front derailleur? Is it braze-on?

kraftwerk 05-01-20 08:09 PM

Hi Mountain Mitch,

Yes, this is the braze-on Super Record. It's pretty slick-looking, silver with a black-anodized pivot. Pretty much the best available, at the time.
I would be glad to take a quick photo for you, but I am currently, unexpectedly, away from all my spare bike parts, I won't get to them for a few weeks.
I will be sure and let you know when they are within arms reach again. You will be 'first on the list'. for this, take care .

kraftwerk 05-01-20 08:24 PM

MM, it looks like ^ this ^ Note this is NOT mine, I just grabbed the photograph from an ebay seller.. (who has it priced at a hefty $58!!)

kraftwerk 05-01-20 08:28 PM

Kekec1965. The shifters are Campagnolo.
....there are two sets of the same or similar, really nice finish to them. one has the barrel nuts.
Thanks for the heads -up on the spelling, now corrected...damn!

Sorry, not to get back to you sooner.
I am unexpectedly / suddenly away from these parts for awhile, will post better photos in about three weeks.

Take care,

jt

Regina Chain and rolls of OLMO bar tape are sold to Eric. Thanks Eric.
