Inaugural Beer Run!
https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...020ff2d35b.jpg
Went for my first beer run on my new bike today. It was impromptu and I wasn't prepared. I had 3 straps on my rack but it turns out they were too short. As I was struggling to rig something up, a thing happened that was beautiful. A kind older gentleman in a pickup truck pulled up and asked me if I'd like 2 bungee straps. I thanked him and asked if I could return them somewhere. He said, no need, I have plenty, just keep them. Thanks again kind stranger! I'll pay it forward! |
With all the Craft brewers, here , I have a Stainless steel 4 pint Growler to fill up from the brewers
and from the collection at Growler Guys Any how nice of the fellow to offer the bungee.. Surly's 'Junk straps' are my favorite load carrying thing, now.. like 1.2M toe straps .. .... |

How the Biz Works..
Steel frame? Jamis may contract Maxway , the big TW company many familiar brands hire to supply their frames..
It's how the bike business has evolved .. but I expect the brand appreciates your loyalty.. |

Torture to not know what kind of beer it is. Sweet Jamis tho
They don't have a big selection at these little country gas stations, but they do have the "hazy American classic". Ahh, refreshing! https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...555813127a.jpg |

Boulevard makes some nice stuff* --I like their Tank 7 and have some of their Bourbon Barrel Quad in the fridge right now.
*(and I'm in craft brew heaven here in CO) |
That's not a beer run, this is a beer run! 4200ft vertical descent and 8 pubs

I made my first beer run in 1988 when I put a rear rack on my Stumpjumper.
