Today is grilling day

https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...5d0e84877.jpeg

Going to grill some burgers with Borracho beans that have a touch of Shiner Bock beer in them. Tomorrow I’m going for a good gravel ride but today my legs must rest.

Hondo Gravel 04-27-19 01:47 PM

I changed my mind. I need my bike fix so I’m hitting the road. Then I will grill
:D

We work crazy hours. So we cook on the weekend for the week. This evenings grill was teriyaki chicken, pollo asado, 3 kinds of snausages, zucchini, and salmon steaks. Over mesquite. Weber kettle, Sorry, no pics.

I love Shiner Bock. It's kinda "malty" but still refreshing.

That's the right prioritization.

You can never have too much beer in the fridge or too many bikes in the house.

Having a little conversation with Jim Beam at the moment.. after smoking six pounds of chicken leg quarters and a filet-and-a-half of salmon..

Camping this weekend at Lake Cachuma outside Santa Barbara. Tri tip, corn, snausages and potatoes on the grill. Washed down with a suitable ipa.

Hondo Gravel 05-06-19 05:34 PM

Now I’m hungry.

Awright awright awright.

Hondo Gravel 05-06-19 09:42 PM

That is the official beer of Hondo Texas :D yes it’s cheap and light and goes down fast when ice cold. Forgiving in the morning and it great for hot weather. And grilling.

Damn, I remember the days of having a fridge stocked with more beer than food, but that was when these were still considered fairly "new"............:innocent:

I'll second that, there is nothing wrong with a frig or cooler of Stones.
