Frame incentive thread: free and cheap combos!
Okay, Guess I am Monty Hall here...
In the spirit of N-1 silliness, with each of the four groups sets below, you can have/purchase a frame for the cost of shipping. Various levels of rehab worthiness, but all but one are classics/solid CV. And the Ross is a rare bird. Groups are Mirage (no wheels) Cyclone/Superbe (no wheels. Sorry) Shimano 6400 Technicolor (ooo...lala) Frames: Free + shipping (separate from group) **1986 Schwinn British racing green Voyager. Made from Tenax and rust. 52 cm ST. Started the rehab and found the rust survivable. **1986 Nishiki Tri A. Tange 1 baybee! 54 ST, 55 TT. In need of medial derustification. Might have Nishiki Stem and bars! **1986 Ross Centaur. Straight gauge Chromoly. Would be cool with a...well don’t know really, but cool frame. Very little cleanup and touch up needed. 57-58 I believe. The better ones 1982 AD SLE (ad nauseum). 57 square. Would be perfect with Bronze 600ex, or even the Cyclone group. Headset included. Eventually I will bite the bullet and build up for sale locally. 1987 Cannondale Team Comp. 47/52 ST; 52 TT...mint green. Tastefully touched up (took a lot of mixing). Headset included. Might have orange tape as well. Will offer until my other projects are done and I build this for sale locally. Just thought you all might have first dibs. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...eae8d8cbc.jpeg Nishiki Tri A: 54 https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...8dd8bd412.jpeg Fiorelli Milano San Remo 57.5 https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...e8aa32bed.jpeg Cannondale SR 400 Team Comp 47-52 ST https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...1e8a45731.jpeg Ross Centaur 57 or 58 https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...f1d985712.jpeg Schwinn Voyagerust 52 |

Love the Ross Centaur. Many years ago I built one up for someone to tour on - nice double walled rims, triple crank, bar end shifters, fenders, Celeste bar tape to top it off. A real looker. The only other one I’ve seen came through a shop I worked at several years later, and had been built up in an almost identical fashion, down to the bar tape!

"I'll take the box that Carol Merrill is showing." :)

The dropouts on the Nishiki are very nicely brazed and filed!

You're killing me!
Remember I said I had a set of unused Cyclone BB cups? I dug them out when the package arrived and it turns out they are Italian. So now I have Italian cups and no frame... I also have most of a full Superbe Pro group waiting for a racy bike. I was possibly going to stick this on a Miyata 912 but I don't know if I'll continue that project. And I'm trying to get rid of stuff. Phil |

Clarification
The groups are not free. Some frames are (plus individual shipping) as a bonus to rehoming a group. Group prices include shipping, frames do not. Separately so you are only paying shipping on the frames. Also boxes large enough for a full frame and wheels are non-existent in these parts unless gigantic.
$230 Mirage $230 Cyclone $250 Technicolor 6400 $250 600 EX Hope that helped clear things up. |

Ride a Centaur and you could wind up anywhere. Here’s the one I owned before it found a permanent home in Italy.
