This post is screwed up. I wanted to share a nice, large picture of my new Share the Road license plate, but so far have been unable to figure out how, in spite of linking to Photobucket url in the pop up box in the tool bar. Then, I could not delete the uncompleted post, something I've had no trouble doing in the past. Just not my day. (The delete function seems limited to 'reply' posts in a thread. Not available for the original post. Or, as usual, I'm missing something.) |

I did what you suggested for the picture on the opening post and got a red X. That's why I wanted to delete it and start over. I'll try again. Thanks for suggestions. Edit: Best I could do. URL link to pic from Photobucket would not work, with repeated attempts. http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=189352http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=189352http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=189352 For those of you who have learned to navigate the maze on BFs for a nice pic upload, give it a shot with your state's Share the Road plate. http://www.bikeforums.net/images/misc/pencil.png |
Use the bottom of the four photobucket links
The (IMG Code) click on it. Then paste onto your post. http://i769.photobucket.com/albums/x...p/Zi6_0766.jpg |
Ah. Now I see the light. I tried a couple of the others, but never made it down to the IMG link. Thanks. I'm gonna write myself a note about that right now.
Darn, surely I'm not the only geek challenged person posting on BFs. Seems like the admin ought to make detailed instructions for picture posting READILY available to newbies. Maybe he has and I just couldn't find it. This was all so intuitive over at CG, and Neil does have an extensive Help section. |
We have a how to do pics thread.
I don't know where it is. I just taught an old dog a new trick. Someone had to also show me how to do it. |
OK,
there is something (besides big bend) that I like about Texas after all :D sweet plate. |
I want one of those. You should edit the OP to show the picture instead of trying to delete it

ooOH! Nice plate.
I liked the ones I had in Oregon. Massachusettes no longer carries any sort of cycling advocacy license plates (but if u like cats/lighthouses/whales/fenway pahk...) |

Illinois cyclists, you can reserve your plate through the League of Illinois Bicyclists. More info available at the LIB web site. http://bikelib.org |
Kentucky has one too.
http://www.louisvilleky.gov/NR/rdonl...theroad800.jpg I don't have one, as my truck still has the Indiana plate on it. I'll have that fixed in a week or two. |
Pretty cool, all of 'em! Hopefully in about a year they will be available here in Missouri, they are working on it.
