Flat tire frequency...front vs rear

I have had about 5 flats in my time commuting via bicycle.

All rear tires.

Every single time I see a cyclist repairing a flat, it is the rear.

What about you? What is your experience and observation?

80% of flats tend to be with the rear tire.

Three or four rear flats for every front flat. Doesn't seem to matter whether it's commuting or out for a ride, the rear has more flats.

If you have an IGH the percentage goes up to about 95%. I became adept at repairing a tube without removing the wheel.
