56cm Bob Jackson, Reynolds 753, Campagnolo Croce de Aune - What's it worth?
Early 90s Bob Jackson with a 753 frameset. Some paint scratches, no dents. RD and Deltas are Croce de Aune. Consumables and many parts are NOS. Wheelset was built with Campy hubs and NOS Mavic MA rims. The build has under 50 miles on it. What's it worth? (This isn't mine and I'm out of my depth pricing a bike like this)

First off, it's a beauty! But.... it that a crack where the rear brake bridge meets the seatstay?
As to value, I really don't have a clue. You can still buy new frames from them at a relatively cheap price but I'm not sure how that effects there price. I paid a few hundred for mine that only had Shimano Tricolor components. It was also an older cyclart respray that has some wear. |
It looks like one.
That is a Chorus Crankset |
That spot on the brake bridge is a paint issue and not a crack.

In the UK, I would estimate selling price £550-£750, but paint condition might be a concern. Deltas worth £200 on their own.

A very fine bike!
I think around $1200 max.... Premium tubeset, popular size and the CdA Deltas (C Record version will fetch more money) helps a lot to keep it above the $1K value line. Would be worth more to BJ fans. Maybe up to $1500 if you find such buyers to bid against each other. |
