Ultegra Wheel quality

I need a new rear wheel for a rider and I've been offered this non-c&V ugly Ultegra wheelset. I'd welcome any insights into this type of wheel. Are they decent and easy enough to maintain? Stay away? Proprietary spokes? Opinions welcome.
TIA. |
They're decent enough. Easy to adjust. A little beefier and thicker spokes than D/A. Steel freehub body so that alloy cassettes don't cut into it as much. A good placeholder until you find what you want.

Will look better with the stickers off.

Thanks guys. That's all I need to know.

They're horrible. I can help you by taking them off your hands.

Just saw a pair on Facebook. Comes with tubes, tires and cassette. $200. Been sitting there for a while. Bike stuff is sloooooowww. Looked again. Are these really tubeless ? Seller says they are take-offs from a newer Specialized

Yes, these can run tubeless, quite easily in fact.

I'm running the wh-6800 wheelset with compass barlow pass set up tubeless on them. Fantastic for tubeless (no need to tape), and they're super easy to adjust bearings (still loose balls), but they need a bit more truing than I hoped. Still really nice wheels
