Hello from Finland
Hi,
Just joined this forum. I've been cycling for about 8 years now. I started cycling when I turned 50. Usually men of that age will buy a HD or a new car etc :) Former no-no-sport is currently my main outdoor acitivity. I started with an entry level Trek hardtail MTB, later I bought an used Corratec road bike. And, finally got an Focus Jam2 7.0 electric full suspension MTB. Really wonderful bike. I've no special goals, I won't participate any races, just trying to stay healthy and have fun. So far the longest ride has been 160 km, or 100 miles. Also avoiding cycling mass events, they are not for me. As a hobby (although I get a little money of it) I'm occasionally translating to English the videos of the most famous Finnish cycling youtuber Velogi. Check the channel, there are lots of videos with English subtitles. You can easily find it using search. |

@MikkoR. - HD? Harley Davidsons in Finland?
|

Short riding season?
Hey, I have never visited your lovely country, what do I know? HD just doesn't seem ... Finnish? But as an old guy I conjure up Flatheads, Panheads, rigid rears, extended forks. Are old Harleys or new ones the rage? edit: in fact, my father-in-law had to trade from a big touring Harley to a Sportster in his late 70s. Brother-in-law has 2 HDs. |
Hyvaa Paivaa! And welcome to the best bicycle forum.
