I don't know what to call this.

Their is no motor on this bike, but after two months I have gotten use to it, it has a 60V 35AH lithium battery, and a 12V 20AH sealed lead acid.https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...1ca7eb9dbf.jpg

What was left of my sanity jumped out the window a couple months ago. Eight 6.5"/16.5cm speakers, eight 3"/7.6cm super tweeters, and a 12"/30.5cm subwoofer.

I'd love to know how much it weighs, the batteries alone are 50lbs/22.6kgs

From left to right the buttons run- left signal lights, amplifiers, prea-mplifier and Bluetooth receiver, horns, main power is a keyed switch, headlights/tail lights, blue under glow that moves with the music, tight signal lights.

Seven band equalizer above the control panel.

Right side of the subwoofer is the 2x100 watt military grade amplifier for the speakers, and a voltage regulators that drops the 60 volts to 24 volts.

Red 5630 tail lights.

The headlights are 2 30 watt dual LED pods.

The blue 5630 signal lights are incredibly difficult to get a photo of.

I probably should for the monthly ride I attend, I max the system on that ride.

Kahsyrbag 10-20-18 09:05 PM

I should probably mention, you can build a really nice sound system for a bike and add only five pounds, instead of a hundred.

Philphine 10-22-18 09:17 AM

do you just occasionaly charge the battery or have a way of charging it while you ride?

i'm actually thinking on a (much much) simpler stereo/lighting system for one of mine. really just some scooter mirrors that have speakers built into them and a little more elaborate lighting than usual. i've read a little about bicycle charging systems but there isn't a lot of info so i'm always searching. like having the generator/dynamo work like an alternator that keeps a small 12v battery charged.

I use a 20ah sealed lead acid on my cruiser with a simple speaker setup, and it can go all day between charges, so I just popped the battery on the charger overnight, it does weight ten pounds though.. You can get amp boards with bluetooth for $20 and you can choose stereo, or 2.1 and stick a sub on your bike.

I lol'd at a few yards, I went through a hundred foot spool of 16 gauge wire, added more besides that, and also used some 12 gauge. Just look up a 12v bluetooth amp board on Amazon, super simple and easy.

That's awesome! Would love to see a video of it in action.

BicycleSafari 01-20-19 09:18 PM

I would call it a "boom bike"

BrocLuno 01-20-19 11:13 PM

+1 :)

Rollfast 01-24-19 04:28 PM

I have a Walkman AM/FM stereo cassette recorder with speaker membranes on the radio side but I used to carry a small actual boombox. That was too much too handle and it fell off and broke.

RollingBuffalo 01-25-19 08:46 PM

Bike de sound

ToobNoob 04-17-19 04:57 AM

I know what you can call it...... floor spaghetti

KingKong 04-22-19 12:08 PM

BoomBox bike

AnotherHuman 05-01-19 04:33 AM

DJ ride! Pretty hilarious

fquint 05-02-19 11:53 PM

Call it "Mr. Boombastic"

Pro11yN0taZeus 05-07-19 04:38 AM

Yes, video please! What kind of music to you play? Amazing lighting.

Kahsyrbag 05-07-19 07:48 AM

I unfortunately never took a video of it, and my garage started leaking when everything began thawing, so I removed all the electronics and have them in a safe place in my house. I'm a renter so the garage may never get fixed.

MsTris10 05-10-19 08:53 PM

Wooowww that intense!
I second “mr.boombastic” 😂

Kahsyrbag 05-12-19 11:30 PM

When I am able to put it back together i am definitely gonna put a plaque on the back that says "Mr. Boombastic", I'm a huge fan of Shaggy, and that just sounds like an awesome bike name.

wschellen 05-13-19 09:59 PM

Wow that's crazy and I am almost up to ten posts.

Kahsyrbag 10-13-19 08:53 PM

Had to junk this trike, the frame rusted through from all the dang salt on the roads here in the winter, now I gotta find something new for winter.
