I went for 2.5 hours and the drivers were bad. You know how sometimes drivers seem a lot more dangerous than normal? It was like that today. Plus, I had a rare double flat and only carry one tube so I had to patch one. I found some shade in a Taco Bell parking lot, luckily.

Here are some crabon questions for the experts: My FD cable is getting sticky in its little groove under the BB on the R3. A. Will sleeving it with housing liner prevent this and 2. is it sticking because it’s sawing through the guide? It does improve with a schpritz of dry lube and I think it’s just road schmutz.

I removed about 200ml of fluid from my front wheel. I put in ~50ml worth of sealant a couple weeks ago. :twitchy:

Super high humidity/dew point this morning. I am not surprised. I took it easy on my recovery ride but still got saturated jersey and went through 2 bottles in just 40 miles.
It’s true what they say: it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity. |

Oh, I was talking about the elevation lead. I think that you (and I) would need to travel another state to threaten his lead for the week. :o

A friend/neighbor is a geologist for our county, basically working outdoors. He got bitten by a tick, which had him develop an allergy for mammals’ meat. If he has a single bite, he breaks in hives and puffs up. :(

I had some digestive tract issues last night, so I was probably under hydrated to begin with. And have always been a Patrick Ewing type sweater. Still, I feel like my tolerance for this type of weather is declining.
