A thread to share the ridiculous things you find on Craigslist.

To start, not a classic or vintage bike, but someone who's obviously trying to make a profit:
Specialized Allez (like new)

At least 5 years old (no tapered HT, Sora thumb shifters, curved fork on Specialized), asking for $1,100 and it's Sora? :twitchy: They say they paid $1,250, but that must've been along with shoes, pedals, helmet, computer, jersey/shorts, etc...

Meh, I've seen a lot worse. At least that Specialized Allez is legitimately worth $600 or so. Asking double what a bike is worth on CL is par for the course. I've seen people asking $500 or more for a Schwinn Varsity in a state of neglect.

And BTW, there's already a thread for ridiculous Craigslist listings in the C&V forum, entitled "The Wacky World of Craigslist and Ebay Ads".

There already is a thread for exotica, nearly 12000 posts already.
