New 50 year old getting back into MTB
 
Old guy here (don't feel old.lol) looking to get back into Mountain biking!!! Looking some bike buying advice as well as updates and mod advice...

Welcome! Never too old to ride and to mtb! I'm 55 and have been riding since I was a kid(bmx). Still riding up in the hills and shredding when I can!

I'm a 60+ newbie, and that number has been difficult mentally for me.
Getting more fit on bikes has been helpful. I do see plenty of older retiree bikers in my area, most are better riders than I.

I'm sure you know, but taking a class or two for introductions can help a lot. I did that last year and was very happy about it. Never too late for MTBing!
