Best size tire?

I recently bought a Motobecane Single Speed bike, it has 700X30 tires on it now but the treads are kinda worn down so I was looking at new tires in the future. I'm 6ft 6 in., 240 lb. 90% of my riding is on pavement, I ride probably 500 miles a month.

Any recommendations? Sorry if this has been asked a bazillion times already, I did a search but didn't find specific info.

More importantly, what are the best pizza toppings?

At your weight, I'd stay with the same size tire. This will allow you to have a reasonable tire pressure to prevent a pinch flat and have low rolling resistance. If you can't find another 700x30c tire, then go with 700x28c in front and 700x32c in the rear.

Personally, I always go for the mini pepperoni that curls up and gets crispy around the edges when given a choice.

You're welcome.

I like sausage and mushroom, but lately the wife and I have been into Canadian bacon and tomato. Weird, I know, but we dig it.

32's if they fit. I like Gatorskins cuz I don't like flats.

And a large special...hold the anchovies.

I now have Gatorskins on both of my bikes and on my 700c unicycle. They ride smoothly and quietly and have good puncture resistance. There may be lighter and faster tyres around, but I swear by Gatorskins.

700c x 28mm is a comfortable size for mixed riding. I have 700c x 25 front and rear on my fixed because it is a tight frame. Great on the road, but jarring on rough paths. I will certainly never go back down to 23mm.

Largest frame can fit! Currently running 25/28 F/R one one rig and 28 F/R on another. Planning 28 or 30s if they fit on my vintage road track build if they will fit.
