Hate to do it but it's time to reduce the number of bikes in the shed. Looking for an estimate of value on this lovely orange Centurion Semi Pro.

That's a really beautiful bike with top of the line frame and parts. Comparable to similar bikes with brand names Paramount, De Rosa, Tommasini and, Colnago. But, since it was "made in Japan" it will only command about 1/3 to 1/2 the price of the more prestigious elite brands. Since those bikes go for $1K to $2K you can ask for about $0.5K or so. The good news is these high end vintage Japanese bikes are more affordable & sell pretty fast. Be good. Have fun.

That’s a really nice, unique bike. Tough one to value. I’m thinking it could have higher value than the more common mid-high end Asian bikes from the 80s. Gut tells me about $450 but that could take some time as a local sale.

The Washington DC market has incredibly pent-up demand right now. Prices for clean vintage bicycles have gone through the roof. I'm not sure about Calgary's, though. I would not sell that bike for less than $650.

Damn, that's a nice bike. I'm a big fan of Orange bikes.

It's a crazy hobby we have where the value of a complete bike is a fraction of the individual parts. However, I can't in good conscience part it out so now I must decide to keep it or let it go.

I used to sell these. we were the largest Centurion dealer in San Diego County.
IMHO it's MUCH nicer than the Ironman. the tasteful amounts of chrome
the black parts on the orange frame. it's just beautiful. and this from a guy
that's Euro centric!

Great looking bike I would agree to the right buyer it is worth more than an Ironman when this bike was originally sold it was likely the best bike in the shop performance wise. Nice bit of history first mass produced Japanese bike to really out perform and seem to have better quality than most nicer Italian , French and English bike that sold f the price at the time.. To me this gives it a bit of a bump price wise to the right buyer so I would agree on the $500=600 range.
