Our first ride. There were some disagreements regarding a "ride" as we were not associated with any other ride. A great variance in expectations, time to start rides, etc. But, overall, a success. 2nd Annual Ride: From miss kenton Date: June 13, 2010 Organizer: tsl Location: Watkins Glen, Finger Lakes, New York Screen Names: tsl Louis Bev John Dick seenoweevil Jim from Boston (get well, Jim!) Miss Kenton Miss Kenton's hubby, Tom Ken Brown Wayne (Ken Brown's buddy) and I think, Groth I apologize if I've left anyone out. Some of us camped at the home base of the ride. Some of the less brave/earthy of us stayed in motels. I believe the rides ranged from 40-80 miles. The scenery was beautiful and the weather was gorgeous. We joined a bigger ride; The Southern Tier Bicycle Club's 30th Annual GFLBT. They had secured the use of a large club house on the campground where we all met up for meals and socializing. It was very well organized. I had a fantastic time and would be happy to participate in that ride again. |
