Michelin Power Endurance Tires?
Specifically 700X25, who is using them? On what bike?
|
I'm using them on my Colnago C-RS road bike, with Campy Chorus 12 speed. They've been great so far. Changed from 23mm Pro 4 to 25mm power endurance. The sidewalls feel quite supple and the ride is better, with 5-10 psi lower air pressure. The tread is supposed to wear longer than the Pro 4.

I just ran a pair on my 2017 Roubaix. I wore out the back tire in 1,200 miles, and after another 900 miles both were pretty chewed up, due to the roads I ride. But, no flats, no issues. and they ride and handle very well. While not as smooth or easy rolling as "race" tires like the GP 4000s or GP 5000, they are not slow by any means. If you need a tire that's more durable than those pure race tires, it's a really good choice.

I had them last year. I had the redwall version. I went 1700 miles without a flat and then I hit a screw that went through the tire and my rim. When they are pumped up to pressure, they are wider than 25mm and I had some frame rub.

I use 28's and have found them to be very puncture resistant so far - Over 2000 km to date on them. They are lasting well and I will certainly use them again.

What is your bike?
Power Endurance tires feel a little more supple than PRO4 E or Krylion2 E tires, but mileage is about the same. |
The 25mm version on my new Zonda wheels only measured 26mm wide, using precision dial calipers.
