Where do you keep your phone?

Looking for some opinions here,

I have an under seat bag where I keep a CO2 can, valve, tyre level, a multi tool, and I shove my phone in there too. I want to get rid of the bag for aesthetic reasons and I can put everything in it in my jersey pockets. I don't really want to do that with my phone because I'll sweat and it'll develop condensation. Any ideas on this would be very much appreciated.

In my pannier.
Oh, wait, this is the Road forum. :P ;)

..But seriously, if the weather is chilly, I tuck my phone in the small chest zip pocket on my shell. Otherwise, in a jersey pocket.

I just put it in a tiny zip lock bag in my jersey. Never had any issues.

I've got an iPhone and just put it in one of my jersey pockets. It gets some sweat on it but that just does not cause any problems. Just over 6300 miles this year doing that way for every ride.

Ziplock bag, into the jersey pocket.

center jersey pocket, no ziplock

I was actually wondering the same thing. After years of cycling without taking my phone, I just started to carry it and I'm trying different ways. So far I've tried jersey pocket, ziplock baggie and inside a folded bandana. It didn't stay dry in any of these options.

I leave it on the kitchen table. One of the reasons I ride is to get some time away from phones and people, and the day I can't be self-sufficient on a ride, my bikes go on Craigslist.
But seriously, you think a bunch of crap in your jersey pockets is more aesthetic than an underseat bag?

I go for a small waterproof bag in a jersey pocket. I have had ziploc bags leak before but never had a problem with the waterproof bag.

I have my phone kept in a Cage Rocket and wear a bluetooth on the ear just in case I get calls:

Yeah because I don't like the bag dangling there, I like the nice clean rear end on a bicycle.

To be honest and most people won't ever admit to it, I carry my phone for two reasons:

1. I only bring along one tube and one CO2 canister. If I flat twice, I'm stuck.

2. This is the one people won't admit to. Once in a while I stop to check Facebook or Instagram or answer a text if I was in a discussion or something interesting before I left for my ride.

Correct

Yep, keeping the crap in a jersey pocket looks much better than a saddle bag. The "crap" is a mini pump, two CO2, levers, patches, and a tube" Except for the mini pump, the rest fits into a small, flat Lezyne pouch.

I always take my iPhone with me. I can ride during daylight, take calls, and do emails. In short, I'm working. Then I make up the time while it's cold and dark in the evening.

i have an arm band holder for phone/mp3 players. Easy to get to on ride to switch radio stations. I hate DJs that love the sound of their own voice.

I don't use an under-seat bag either.

Short rides (less than 100 miles) - phone goes in the jersey pocket.

Centuries or longer - I put a Bento box on the top tube for the phone, my money clip, and a few energy gels.

Left jersey pocket in a zip lock bag...
