Tern Link C8 Upgrading advices

Hi everybody, i would like to make my link c8 lighter, and i was
thinking to buy the xaris fork made by Tern, is there anybody who can tell me
the hi-tensile steel fork weight (the standard fork), in this way
i can see if the replacement worth or not. Same question
for the saddle and the standard mudguards,
anybody knows the velo comfort weight?
Finally, i would be really pleased if somebody can suggest me
a way to upgrade my bike and make it lighter.

The Xaris fork looks like it is steel so probably not worth the cost for weight reduction. Try their 451 wheels/tires skinnier rims and tires should weigh less. Road bike seat, carbon bars/seatpost will reduce weight. Ebay has 20 inch carbon forks but the brakes will be in front don't know if it is possible to put the Tern's in front of the fork.

a) wheelset (406 - 20X1.0 or 451 - 20 1 1/8)
b) Litepro crankset with BB
c) hollow lightweight chain
d) carbon seatpost and handlebar
e) carbon seat
f) litepro VBrake
g) remove all un-necessary parts (i.e kickstand)
