Fork swap help for newb
 

I got a Fat Bike which I swap out a 29+ 2.2” Wheelset on during the summer. However, That Fat fork just feels like an anchor and I’d love to be able to swap it out too for a Surly Ogre or Krampus fork. IF POSSIBLE. problem, is how do I know if such a swap is interchangeable?

The Thru-axle is compatible, no prob. But how do I know if it will fit my headset?

OK, I’m learning. Looks like my Fat Bike has a 1.5 to 1-1/8 taper And the Surly is a strait 1-1/8. I surmise that’s a no-go on compatibility?

OR can I replace the headset to get the 1-1/8 strait tube? Is that even feasible?
