Fixed gear crit/race videos

I tired searching for a thread of videos, but couldn't find one. If somebody could link me to one, that would be great. Specifically though, I'm looking for race (crit & alleycat) videos, particularly those filmed from a helmet-cam. Or distance riding videos. Stuff like Stairways to Heaven, Tokyo 2 Osaka, things like that. Feel free to post links to freestyle stuff as well, but personally I'm not nearly as interested in trick videos.

Linky linky? :D

Have you checked out Lucas Brunelle's alley cat races on Youtube?

Go to his website for better quality vids. anyone know why he hasn't posted a video in a long time?

Yo! 05-07-10 12:33 PM

hairnet I loved that video.

My mom is from NO and I haven't been there since we rescued the grandparents from Katrina. Need to get back ASAP.

I love New Orleans too. I spent a week there around New Years, just riding bikes with a bunch of friends all around the city all day. I really fell in love with the place

Don't think so. Cornering would be scary.

prooftheory 11-18-11 02:05 PM

That's what I thought.

8bits 11-18-11 02:07 PM

Red Hook is a fixed crit race as far as I know.

bmw 11-18-11 02:17 PM

Yeah they have the crit show in Red Hook every year here with a 90 degree tight turn.

What kind of course is it held on ? Any tight / sharp turns ? I suppose if it were held on a course with wide sweeping turns it would be ok. Kinda like a track.
