I have one from the same seller. First one they shipped me was lost in the mail, but they sent another without too much trouble. The saddle itself seems to be good quality, I've ridden on it for about 2000 miles.

I have a 95g carbon fiber saddle from Merek. The price is slightly higher, but it comes from Taiwan (which is a few generations ahead of china when it comes to CF technology) and allegedly passes the European standards for safety, etc.

They sell directly and also on Ebay, at least they have in the past, and the cost is only a bit higher...so I would consider Merek.

All that said, this one is probably ok.

The rails are carbon fiber so don't over-torque them. Be careful!

You would think a hard saddle is uncomfortable but I have ridden up to 125 miles/day on mine and it's fine.

p.s. how much do you weigh?? If you are heavy, you may wish to reconsider. I am under 140 pounds so weight doesn't matter as much.

Thanks!... found the Merek ones... about $30 more... it's not the money though, I like the clean look of the cheapie ones... Hmmm...

Well... I weigh about 195... so I'm big... but not huge... I have 7 bikes so they don't each get that much use...

The seat is going on a Vitus 992 with full mavic group and Shamal wheels... I probably won't ride it very much... so I'm not too concerned...

But... you raise a good point... can a Carbon seat like that support 200 pounds?

I have this exact saddle, and I've been using it for over a year now and its got about 8000 miles of saddle time. Its been great so far and fits my ass perfect, but that of course changes from person to person. I weigh 160lbs.

I feel sorry for IBD'S

I have the Merek and I liked it so much I bought the 95g for the road bike. I prefer the shape of the 95g and it is the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden. 139

I got one and it was surprisingly comfortable on the sit bones. It hit me wrong further forward though - on long rides it would get to be fairly painful. I think if I could find one with the right shape, it could be a very comfortable saddle.

I had one of the 100g carbon saddles. loved it, super comfortable. it started getting some cracks on the seat by the rails and one up front so I stopped using it. I'm a fat 180lbs though. i wish they would make a tougher 150g version for us fat asses to use.

Why should you? Do whatever makes you feel good about yourself, some will not follow your practice, life is weird like that.

Inflammatory Bowel Disease. I feel sorry for them too, but I'm not sure what that has to do with saddles. All carbon saddles are fairly easy to clean. http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=266705

I have one somewhere. I found it comfortable which surprised me because I'm a clyde (200 - 220 pounds). However for me it wore holes in my shorts after a while so I took it off. It looks great though and I never had any other issues with it.
