KHS vintage chrome mt bike
 

Hello, found a vintage khs mt. bike at a yard sale and am trying to figure out the value.
SN 30607275, Has suntour mountech drivetrain with sugino cranks, diacomp brakes 2arm tabs on frame,
Frame is welded tube and is chrome, cannot find any other decals
Anyone else have an idea?

Good Morning and welcome to the forums. No pics? I guess if you didn't buy it it is worth less than the current seller is asking for it. MOst everyone had a chrome MTB or two in the mid '80s so that alone doesn't really indicate a high value bike. Is there is a sticker stating what the tubing is?

If it is what I think it is they are relatively rare.

The parts would place it around a 84 give or take a year.

Without more information, such as where you live, and pictures would be helpful. Without that sort of information there is no real way to determine value.

Rarity has zero bearing on value. Chrome is prone to rust issues, so condition is everything.
