Yuba Mundo Conversion?
 

Hi,

I am looking at a used Yuba Mundo to convert using a Bafang set up.

There is a cheap good condition Mundo available and a local shop that does Bafang conversions within my budget.

A bit of red flag to me is Yuba does not currently offer (not sure if they ever did) an electric Mundo. is there a conversion issue with this bike?

I am wondering if anyone here has done a conversion to that bike and if there any any pitfalls to my plans.

They sold the Mundo as an electric bike for several years. They called it the elMundo. It was essentially just an aftermarket Bafang conversion direct from Yuba, although earlier versions might have used a hub motor.
