Bought a new Koga Kimera frameset a couple of weeks ago... hated the orange so decided to get it repainted.

What do you think? :)

Must say I normally don't appreciate painting a classic, but that's a keeper. The orange anyway represent the Orange, ie Dutch national team, so painting makes even more sense. What size?

Nice JMR. Personally I would not have added the green and gold bands as I feel it detracts but understand why you did...

Hida Yanra 10-14-14 05:27 PM

well, that's nice and a half.

Since the Kimera is just a rebranded BT you were right to forgo the orange and go for the yellow/green combo! Very nice!

Nice. Perhaps I may see it in the flesh next March?

Thanks guys... I love the way it turned out.

Will have it built up on the track on Sunday... will let you all know how it rides!

Brawlo, you most certainly will if you are coming to Sydney. I have some titles to defend. :)

Nah. Had my first stab at state sprints for curiosity sake. First ever timed flying 200 on boards (pretty lacklustre but 0.5 sec better than I've gotten at home) got me to 2nd out of 3 luckily and raced off to nab silver. Not nearly enough proper sprint experience to be competitive. I'm more about having fun with the regional carnivals this year, so not sure if I'll be hitting good enough times to worry about states let lone nationals this year. Irrespective of whether I compete, I will be there to support some clubmates and have a look. My clubmate may give you a run for your money. He smashed almost everything at state last year, but never factored in nationals and so didn't put in for the extra time off work.
