I'll post photos of the Schwinn Town and Country Triplet later...that's probably the most unusual thing I own and I doubt there's more than 40-50 of those in the country.

There are plenty Raleigh DL-1s around, but I've never seen another orange one (original color). Also the tire size is rare.

Bianchigirl, show us your Rigi! I've never seen one irl and yours is one of only a few I've seen on the internet.

Not unusual parts or anything but I've been cleaning up my old Peugeot and it has a paint job and decal set I've never seen anywhere else... Don't now if this counts really!:rolleyes:

These are the old "pre clean" photos and when I finish cleaning her up I'll post up some better pictures... It's all original parts apart from the tyres, brake pads and Bar tape now!

Thanks! I think that is the brand. I got them on a RD I had planned to use on a blue bike, swapped out for black, and had them sitting in a drawer for several months. It was fate.

I love that bike, it was my dream bike in 1981. I settled for a Blue FUJI Royale. Heck, I was only 14.

My Norman Rapide. There must be more of these out there; Norman was a pretty big factory, turning out thousands of bicycles and motorcycles. In 1950, when this one was made, the Rapide was their top of the line bicycle.

This reminds me that I still need to shorten the rear brake housing and take better pictures. Maybe I'll glue some tubies on it and actually go for a ride one of these days.

Here is a bike that I recently picked up for my wife. I can't find any mention of the builder anywhere (Century). It has a Mavic stem, Mafac Guidonnet levers and cantis, Stronglight P3 headset with only two pin spanner holes and a really nice 531 frame rolling on tubulars with Suntour V derailleurs and old Maxi cranks.

I guarantee nobody has this. It's an early Rauler (serial number 7) with Colnago Pantos on the fork tangs (but with Rauler pantos on the fork crowns). I'm guessing that, while pantographing fork crowns and lugs for Colnago, Raul Gozzi helped himself to one of the crowns and tested out his own symbol.

And this. A late 70's prototype/sample for a small company called Echelon that was apparently made by Cherubim, run by Yoshi Konno's brother, and where Yoshi worked during the late 70s, prior to starting 3Rensho. Made by the master or his brother? Either way, it's a pretty nice frame.

That's because it's still in a box! You're right tho, I know of only two Fuji Super Records, your's is one of them.

A 1976 Fuji Professional in black that was spec'd especially by Fuji for the late Gene Ritvo, the "father" perhaps of Fuji America. Gene died last year and my good friend William bought his entire collection from his estate. They all passed thru my hands a few weeks ago .. the Professional (above), it's matched, same year, Professional Pursuit track, also in black (below).

In addition, a first year 1975 Pro with some of the prettiest lug work I've seen on a Fuji. The Super Record model that I mentioned above is unbuilt in a box along with a '85 Opus III frame, also never built.

Luckily, I got a chance to ride all of the built frames ..

Mid -60's Rutledge, produced by Stelber in Brooklyn NY. AFAIK its got a 1st gen. Shimano 3.3.3 internal gear hub.

I brought it up to Vermont this past weekend so it can live with my brother and get a little more use ..plus he needed a bike and i've got plenty.

1964 Huffy-imported Moulton 4 spd.

I started converting it to a psuedo Speed Six with the drops, but stopped after the move to the west coast. I don't trust braking on the steel rims, so it's living in the back of the garage waiting for a set of 349 ERTO alloy rims to fall into my lap.

1973 Eisentraut/CID. Made for a shop in DC, fewer than thirty were made, according to the man. First generation dura ace on the frame, Campy drops/ends, mix of tubing.
