Bike Touring Journal/Ride Report Sites

I'm familiar with Crazy Old Guy on a Bike, are there other as good/better sites where folks publish daily journals and ride reports from multi-day tours?

I did a bunch of web searching, haven't found much. I'm in the US, so mostly interested in NA/US tour journals, but especially over the winter enjoy reading those southern hemisphere ones, as well!

Thanks, John P.

Not sure what features you are looking for but www.ridewithgps.com has their Ambassador section they encourage people to post to.

I heard they recently changed the name to Crazy Old Fart on a Bike to avoid charges of gender discrimination.

People have blogged on many sites -- wordpress, blogspot, and numerous personal/vanity sites. Adventure Cycling has a ride registry at https://www.adventurecycling.org/res...y/journals.cfm. It's not comprehensive (is anything on the web?), but it's another good starting point.

I did a google search of "bicycle touring journals" and got a long list of places for journals or links to articles about bike touring blogs. It is a good place to start.

That said, Crazy Guy on a Bike will have the biggest selection, by far.

CycleBlaze is fairly new -

Easy to use.
Good graphics.

Generic Google searches find nearly as good of a selection as any particular site. Some years ago I would check out Trento Bike pages: https://www.trentobike.org

Reasonable pages and somewhat more focused on European authors but not close to volume (or consistency) of CGOAB.

I like using CGOAB to read other journals and even posted one there. However for my own journals I like the control over content/style/ownership having my own site brings. So I keep my own pages and occasionally post links to places like Trento and also one or two to CGOAB.

A site with multiple journal links: Bicycle Touring Links Page -- Travelogues of Long Cycling Trips

Thanks for the suggestions - CycleBlaze looks like it will fit the bill. I hadn't even thought about RideWithGPS Ride Reports - that may work, also!

I'm trying out Cycleblaze - it is just getting going but looks great, easy to use and run by some very helpful folks.

The journal of our Great Allegheny Passage biking/hiking/rafting/eating adventure is here.
