vuelta zerolite track wheels

Anyone have any experience with these wheels I've found reviews of some the others... looks like a decent deal for a beater bike.

I think you'd be better off with a set of Weinmanns with sealed Formula hubs from Velomine for only a few bucks more:

I've been commuting on these since last August, though i got mine on bikeisland. I don't know how heavy they are, probably heavy-ish, but they haven't gone out of true or popped spokes or anything, and I was even irresponsible and never tensioned the spokes before using them.

I'm not sure there's any appreciable difference between the Vuelta rims and DP18s, and I am fairly certain the hubs are unbranded Formula low-flange hubs.

The low-flange hubs pictured on the Nashbar wheelset (Formula or otherwise) aren't sealed. For 15 bucks more, I'd rather have sealed hubs.

That makes sense, then.

So are Weinmann DP18s... but, like Scrod said, the sealed Formulas are worth the extra cash.

Or - if the OP wants something with a little less weight/girth, there's always Sun M13s to Formulas for $125:

i really think that's probably the best wheelset under 200 bones

I agree and have nothing but good experience with mine.
