1 & 3 are possibilities, 2 is only in the list because he's American.
(I only threw in #3 because he’s from Belgium ) |

Kuss is listed because he’s really good and has a lot of potential.
(I only threw in #3 because he’s from Belgium ) Poel is also 24 but has won Amstel Gold this year and is a very talented rider. Very promising prospect. He's from Belgium but is registered as Dutch. |
Wout van Aert

Van der Poel has the most letters and is technically the biggest name.

There's no other answer than: van der Poel
Speculation, obviously. But, the sure thing is... time will tell. |
Van der Poel if he goes all in for a Grand Tour.
|
Brandon has had a couple hard years. Last year crashing - twice, hip, concussion. This year sick. I think that all counts. But I also think ... we shall see.
There is a bigg difference between a few hour power and multi-day GT ability. Like comparing a miler (runner) to a marathon runner. Cycling likes marathon types (I like shorter). As such I don't see our cx guys really making the transition. Brandon is still TBD - but I think my best bet on the new big thing - other than our TdF winner :-) |

(1) Remco Evenepoel (2) Sepp Kuss (3) Mathieu van der Poel Evenepoel also looks like he could be very, very good. Well, he already is very, very good, but he looks like he could also be among the elite of the next generation. |
Remco is on the charge.
|
MVDP could over take Nino in the MTB World Cup but he is sticking to his plan.
|
Egan Bernal.
INEOS team meetings are going to be awkward for a while. |
Wish you would have asked " between these four" with Wout van Aert being the 4th, he's my pick. Maybe not a Froome but more along the lines of Segan.
|
I don't know if van der Poel is GC material. Is he too big to be a great climber? If he devotes himself to road racing, he's going to tear up the classics and win some sprints, that's for sure. If he takes the rainbow jersey in Yorkshire and then only does road racing part time, that would be a little strange. Does anybody know when/where he's moving teams? Cause clearly he will be.
He put on a great show today (or yesterday?) in Norway: Last Km of Stage 1, Arctic Race of Norway (2019/) |

I do agree he's in line to replace Sagan when he's done. I believe van der Poel will be in that category also. We'll probably see quite a few battles between the "van" boys. Remco and Kuss, I think will be more GC type contenders. |

Yup.
When was the last time someone won White & Yellow jerseys? Contador in 2007. Ullrich in 1997. Fignon in 1983. The jersey was created in 1975. I think quite a few earlier winners would have qualified, Merckx in 1969 for one. |
Pogacar and Bernal.
