I also think, if anything, the poster of the deal should get the referrals. But that's just me.

inviter gets ten bones after the invitees first offer. its proclaimed on the entire left half of their homepage. this is no different from people posting hammer nutrition codes.

if you dont order anything, theres no loss either way, but id appreciate anything tossed my way!

I'd be down another $51 or so, too.

I have one, and really, it's all looks. It's not particularly fancy, no fancy settings (I have the 12-mode one), after a while, it starts to look ugly instead of growing on you. For the price, I wish I'd bought something else. But, it is easy to move around (which is convenient for me since I have too many bicycles) and it's waterproof with a light. It get's the job done, but maybe not for 51 dollars.

this seller on ebay has some good deals on bags. whether they're real or not is a different story.

i ordered the medium single strap sag bag in blue. it cost me 50 total and it's a very nice bag. as far as i can tell the bag legitimate. i love it.

I'm really thinking about buying that SAG x FTC Megatron bag. I just hope all the bags are legit.

I was just browsing crankset posts and I found a link to this: http://www.totalcycling.com/index.ph...urrency&id=USD

I don't know how good of a deal that is, most others i've seen are in the 150-170 range with Chainring included, but if Dr. Banzai uses it it must be good for your health.

bdot 10-12-10 01:00 AM

anyone have any idea if the ebay seller posted above is legit? price seems too good to be true..

They used the wrong picture, those are the 135BCD Primato Track cranks but they are selling the 144BCD Primato Advanced.

Good price on a good set of arms.

Also...VeloMine's got set in 167.5mm for $165 only and a set of 165mm for $185.

raiden07 10-12-10 08:24 AM

Nevermind those, get the crank arms + chainring for only 130$USD shipped (~136$CAD)

http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/roa...et/MCHECHAT220

or here (free shipping and use a 5 pound voucher for about the same price)

I've seen those on my search for the cheapest set of Omniums, but frankly when you can grab a set of Omniums heres: http://cgi.ebay.com/SRAM-Truvativ-Om...item4152eaba7e with BB (not included on either set of Miches, as well as free shipping) you're clearly getting a better deal with the Omniums. It's a shame I want to go to Hard Haunted and do things I don't need to be doing. Otherwise i'd have grabbed some Omniums already, probably sexed up some Black ones like this.
http://bikeisland.com/images/CR2308.jpg

But yeah, if I were going Miche I'd need to find something in the 100-120 shipping range to fill like Omniums are not just a couple more bucks for pure crank sex. Also, Bike Island doesn't seem to charge tax or shipping so 165 shipping for some Omnium sex. I'm going to go harass people to buy this for me.

the bag i got seems 100% legit. i just compared the actual product pictures with the legit pics of the actual bags. looking at details. and with my blue sag bag, i can see no difference at all.

i;m not an expert on how things in chinese factories work. but i assume these bags are from the same manufacturer. just sold on the side or whatever.

plowmanjoe 10-12-10 10:13 AM

i've seen omniums sell on ebay for as low as 120-130. i got a set for 150 bin this past summer.

I've been trying to win a set sub 100 until I have the money to buy a new set, but we'll see.

Kayce 10-12-10 10:18 AM

Omniums and Miches are obviously different cranks. Why would you tell people finding a set of cranks for 1/4 off is a bad deal because you can buy a totally different pair cheaper?

adriano 10-12-10 11:12 AM

144bcd is pointless.

If that is in response to me I simply make the point because The Miches do not inlcude a $30 BB, which even at the lowest cost one still brings the price up to $150. $15 more for Omniums in my opinion, makes Omniums the clear choice. If you have the BB and just want to save the cash, go for it but I've felt Omniums, and read a good deal and they seem to have a brilliant reputation.

also.

Is Campagnolo Record Crank Set 170mm with 46t Chainring for $139 a decent deal? no BB.

Kayce 10-12-10 12:18 PM

Omniums dont fit on a lot of frames, require a much larger investment to change around chainrings, push out the Q factor and are stylistically very different. A quarter off of anything's standard price is a good deal, it doesnt matter what else is available for another crankset that is so vastly different.

a lot of frames or just one frame?

Pooptet 10-12-10 05:25 PM

Great review. Makes me want to buy the bag even more

Squirrelli 10-12-10 05:25 PM

A several frames, including the Trek T1 and several others.

It'll fit on a Vigorerlli in case you're wondering.

i actually have them on my vigorelli. there's probably 1-2mm of clearance with the spider and the chain stay.

WoundedKnee 10-13-10 02:10 AM

110bcd wins. Sorry.

Higher Class 10-13-10 04:30 AM

Spotted this on the Bay, was wondering what y'all thought about it. Obviously the guy slapped a 46t ring and single speed bolts on a road double, but it still seems like a pretty good deal.

more a question than a deal but did not wanted to start a new thread.
where can i order the rear low flange novatec or formula track hub in double fixed and 32 holes? i only find the fix free version. would prefer the one with the hollow axle

and are there any ti or alloy axles available? found bolts but no axle

adriano 10-15-10 08:55 AM

a front titanium axle shouldnt be hard to find, but i dont know about a rear.
