I love the way they shipped my fork...
I mean really... They couldn't find a box so the just shoved it through one side; Totally looks intentional, wouldn't have fit in that box otherwise.
*Luckily, super cheap fork for a cruiser, shockingly came through unscathed. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...3a3fc8f9e0.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...cad1009a3c.jpg |

If the fork was turned to the side and placed diagonally, it would have fit inside the box. Not the least surprising if it came from China with underpaid workers under very tight deadlines!

Reminds me of the time my neighbor shipped a Dutch bike back from Europe. He packed it himself, and when it wouldn’t fit in the bike box, he cut off a corner for the handlebars to stick out of and taped another, handlebar-sized box over the bars. It’s been awhile, but I think he might have cut holes for the pedals, too. Made it across the Atlantic pretty much unscathed.

I assume you got free shipping? ;)

If it doesn’t fit, you must acquit.

Well I won't complain anymore if I get something like 2 water bottle cages in a huge box.

It's more work and slower to push the fork through the box. |

I've had empty boxes delivered to my work place. Shippers fault putting a 35 pound hunk of metal in a thin already used corrugated box.

Maybe the box shrank.
