CX Racing on Zipp 302 non-tubeless ready wheels.
I may have put this in the wrong spot. But, has anyone had any luck racing or riding Zipp 302 disc wheels set up ghetto tubeless for CX? I have these wheels for road racing and they are lighter than my AL wheels I have currently on my cross bike. And you know carbon is better right? I am trying to reduce my urge to upgrade yet again another set of wheels on another bike. Obviously the roadie in me feels the need to buy upgrades instead of "ride up grades" but still, the pull is there. I would not be attempting to ride these wheels tubeless on the road. I value my life a little more than that.

that rim bed profile doesn't look tubeless friendly at all
https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...07aa6c7386.jpg just run them with latex tubes if you want, otherwise stick with the aluminum wheels especially if they are tubeless ready |
What makes the rim bed more tubeless friendly than others?
