It hit 97 in my upstairs bedroom earlier this summer, I don't use AC, but I do use a recirculating fan. Was bad but not unbearable, since I was getting plenty of fresh air. Plus I'm in CA, so it was dry heat.

I like to embrace the heat rather than avoid it like most people do, and I think it helps me tolerate it better when out on the bike. Hardly ever have to pee, since I'm sweating all the time.

We live in a 200 year old farm house. No AC, but we usually get good breezes.

The e-bike is making her stronger, because she's more likely to go out on the hilly terrain around our house. The assist gives her confidence that she'll be able to get up the hills that usually intimidate her.

Pre-shop ride today; temps started around 70F and rose to just over 80F. I was happy for the post-ride AC at the shop.

We keep the house at 80 degrees in the summer, and 66 degrees in the winter.

I sleep better at 80 degrees, than 66 degrees.

The Petty arrived while we were out today. Looks nice. Does not have a final edge on it. Time to soak some stones and sharpen it up.

I am a very strong proponent of the e-bike for encouraging folks to ride under conditions which would prevent them without assistance. Or just to permit groups to ride together which otherwise couldn’t.

Ouch for both. We are at 72 and 69.

Trsnrtr 07-07-19 05:47 AM

74° summer and 72° winter.

Yes, they play a definite role, but you can’t attribute everything to genes. If you’re living high-risk you can’t rely on your genes to protect you. Diet and exercise are something you can do to improve your overall health no matter how good or bad your genes might be.

I like it comfortable in either season. Right now it’s 78 inside and comfy because the dreaded humidity is low, but 78 yesterday at this time was a different story.

Humidity is key.
And now for a ride, in high, morning humidity.

The shop windows were fogging up at one point yesterday.

seedsbelize 07-07-19 10:11 AM

My glasses were fogging up on this morning's ride.

BillyD 07-07-19 10:28 AM

My brain stays foggy, so there’s that.

I worked with a guy who always wanted me to convert feet into multimeters. :D

I've ridden the last 11 days in a row and today is the first time below 80º and probably only the second time below 90º.
