Bird poop. 🙄

Well, it must be time for me to buy some lottery tickets. Two days ago, a bird pooped on one of my panniers. Then this morning, a bird pooped right on me, hitting my jacket & outer pants. 😒 The interwebs say this is very rare, and very lucky, especially happening more than once. 🤔

Don’t worry, if I win the lottery, I’ll probably still hang around here. At least after doing laundry. 🙄😁😉

If I send you 20 bucks, will you buy a ticket for me?!

Better than getting chased by a dog. In my area there's "pokeweed", birds love the berries in late summer & can cause stains, the berries are a traditional dye.

Why, sure I will. I’ll buy you a $4.00 ticket, if I can keep the change. Next!!!

At this rate, I won’t even have to buy myself a ticket. 😁😉

I get barked at by a gazillion dogs, but usually their tails are wagging, and they just want to make friends. The few that ever chased me with bad intentions, were clearly crazy, probably from abusive owners. 🙁

With all this social distancing, the birds have fewer people to poop on, making the odds of you being the one who gets hit much greater!

You must not have heard, about the herd mentality, out here in California. A lot of folks are acting like the whole pandemic is over now, expecially in regards to face masks. 🙄🙁

Well, I never did buy any lottery tickets, but I did get my Covid-19 incentive money today, finally. 👍 For us folks on SSDI, at least, they just direct-deposited that in our bank accounts, along with our regular monthly benefits. 🙂

But on the bright side, bird poop has to be better than cow poop. Right? Right? 😁😉 I just passed these ladies awhile ago, outside of Bakersfield.

I received a perfect bullseye many years ago. Seagull flew across the road and hit my stem at the handlebar crossing - exactly.

Seagulls - I believe they are the only bird that flies for fun. They do crazy things just because they can. Developing the skill to hit targets crossing at right angles? I believe it. I watched one dive in a powerful updraft off the building I was working in (Pacific winter storm) for hours. Every break I got, he'd be in that same vertical dive, being thrown all over the place by the turbulence.

You’re forgetting the ravens. They like to play leapfrog with bicyclists, and they do all kinds of weird tricks while flying, especially in a good wind. 🙂

Ha, that’s perfect. 😁👍😁 I’m not sure exactly why they still call it “lucky”, but there’s a lot of interesting stuff written, about that & other old superstitions, on the web. 😎
