Re-introduction???

Hey there, I tried to create a new account, found out I already had one and I did and introduction!

...7 years ago...:foo:

TL,DR: I’m back again looking into hybrid bikes to ride greenways so hybrid is probably the way I’ll go. Not sure what I think about front suspension or solid forks. Time will tell and I’ve got a lot of reading to do.

Thanks,
Paul

Hello Paul,
Welcome back after your 7-year hiatus a few things in the cycling world have changed since you last visited the site.
I am not well versed on hybrids but there is a subforum here with folks that can assist you with lots of information...:thumb:
Best, Ben

Welcome back. Solid fork is simpler, lighter, and uses less energy. best choice unless going over very difficult terrain.

Visit the hybrid sub-forum.

Thanks for the replies! I’ve been spending time in the Hybrid forum...lots to read!

I’m wanting a bike for greenways so speed isn’t as much of a concern BUT, I sure feel slow on my hardtail MTB.

I want a bicycle like my Motorcycle (BMW GS). Kinda quick, versatile and comfy. :roflmao:

You could put on smooth, skinnier tires.
That won't help the engine though. :D
