New commuter

hay commuters I been upgrading a 7.5 fix for a month at lbs . Because on the net I saw more comfort ratings on hybrids,so without trying I ran from road bikes, got to final stages, and saw a Cannondale roadie I had to try I loved it. Multiple hand positions for my CT’S and fast to make a BIG boy beginner feel like I’m going somewhere.what are my possibilities for pouches or gear

There are other of options for stowage on a road bike, even if you don't go with a rack and pannier. You can get a large under the saddle bag like this one:

There are top tube bags like this one:

But if you have to carry lots of things there's nothing like a full rack and panniers.

Congrats on the new bike! There are many possibilities for baggage. Lots of people just use a backpack or messenger bag. Racks that bolt to the bike, front or rear, racks that clamp on the seat post, bikepacking bags that are like giant saddlebags or that velcro into the frame triangle. What you can do depends on what holes you have in your frame for mounting (a racy road bike might have none) and what seems convenient for you.

I would start with a backpack because just about everyone has a few floating around the house. That will force you to streamline what you need to carry and help you decide on what store size you need.

As an example, we have a pile of between 4 and 6 backpacks and messenger bags in our corridor that we use to go to the beach, as a diaper bag with the pram or walk to the shop with or to get on the bikes for work/play.

We've found that very useful.

Sorry about the low quality photo, just checking BF on my mobile while making afternoon tea.

Recommendations for "pouches or gear" depend on what you are using the bike for. Are you carrying in clothes for work or do you need to go grocery shopping or whatever else?
