Any Trek XM700+ riders out there?

Looking for a ebike, would prefer to buy a complete unit I can get serviced. I looked at a few and the Trek XM700+ looks like it would fit the bill.

Anyone have one? Your thoughts?

I simply need help on the hills, otherwise I am fine, so a decent range should be OK on even a smaller 400w battery since I pedal so much otherwise.

Be sure to check out the e-police model too.

I've had one for two years and think it's great. It's a heavy bike but the mid-drive system is the only way to go in my opinion. You don't need anything above the eco level until you come to a hill. I almost never use the Turbo (highest) level except on the steepest incline. Bosch has a good reputation so I hope it's justified. The only thing it's so damn expensive but if you've got the $$$ buy it.

Take a look at the Raleigh Lore...I put 2000 miles on mine--it is a blast to ride

I've had the XM700 for about 2 months, so far so good. Like you I wanted a complete bike with the ease of local service when needed. I also wanted a speed pedalec, having tested bikes with motors that cut out just before 20 mph. I did a lot of research and the Bosch mid-drives have a lot going for them and appear to be very reliable.
I bought the bike because I wanted to commute to work again, which just hasn't been happening at much in the last year. My commute is a 11 miles which used to take about 50 minutes. Now it takes me 30 minutes. I highly recommend the XM700
