Treasures in the attic...
 

Getting excited about this winter...accessing our Christmas decorations in the attic reminded me of the rest of my collection...already brought down my purple Raleigh Competition and have refinished the rebuild/build...finished up with new tires and tubes today...needs my final fit and service...quick ride, quick being the word...old world cool!
Some of these bicycles were totally redone before going upstairs, so gonna go for a fun build...prob the Moto Le Champion up front...last owner was a professor who rode the bike around Boston, back and forth to a University, not sure which one...
The grody brown bike without wheels has a full, ‘cept for hubs of course, Superb group for some of my very patient future projects...

no worries of extreme heat-weather aging the saddles,paint,seizing seatposts,stems?

The last time I looked in my attic all I saw were a bunch of empty moving boxes.

Nope. Most stems posts, etc. greased, lubed, and leather seats dealt with...older upper end bicycles...seems likes bettah paint and chrome...

I store frames only up in my attic. Nothing high end like you have!

A 1000, an 1100, and a 1400 Treks, my beautiful red C’dale ST600, and a Fuji Del Rey Silver Streak...there is a gorgeous early Nashbar Tourer with the most amazing, unexpected ride! Somebody here knows what I am talking about!

Yard sale...wife is there, husband is not...late in the season, late in the day...under $100.00...she wanted it gone!
It will ride right out from under you...lil toe, wheel overlap...fast and fun!
