Sansin sealed bearings

Can someone tell me if these hubs are true sealed cartridge style bearings or if I can service them. Just bought the bike, they feel good, but I’d like to service them If they are serviceable.

also, is there a way to determine rim width so I can determine if the tires I want will fit, without taking the tires off?

thanks everyone

they DO look to be pressed-in sealed cartridge bearings. If you are determined to service them check out the "easy" step-by-step wiki made by miamijim, it's "easy" cause you can leave them in place whilst you clean and re-pack with grease of your choice. Even replace a rubber (coated) seal if it's trashed. But if the bearings are actually bad then the servicing is still possible but involves pressing out and in, you need at the least an assortment of "anvils" like deep sockets and a large vise or arbor-press. Let's see if I can actually find the miamijim post...Found it here ya go, start with post#11

I just overhauled a pair of these. Just pop the seal out with your finger or a tool, but be careful not to damage the rubber. Pops right back in place after greasing the bearings.

They aren’t sealed in the way you’d think it means.
