2000 Lemond Buenos Aires Value
 

Would a 2000 Lemond Buenos Aires be worth $400? What is the realistic value of this bicycle? Shimano 105 9 speed. Rolf Vector wheelset. Reynolds 853 main tubes. 725 chain and seat stays. Any help is appreciated!

There was another similar inquiry a few days ago..yes..it'd go for $400-$500 pretty easily in my neck of the woods...depending on condition..as always.

I don't know if it makes much difference in price that this bike has a 1" headset with quill stem vs 1 1/8" and a modern stem.

Look at that bike, and the components and you tell me.

The price will be dependent on where you live..Zurich's out here in L.A. languish on the market for 400 hundred and do not sell at anywhere near the 500-700 asking price.
This one is clean and if it fits you and you are planning on keeping it offer the price you are comfortable with and enjoy the ride...if you plan on flipping it move on.

If in Portland or Seattle, I'd try to get $600 for it because it looks barely used. Gotta do something about that bar plug situation though. Possibly new tape while you're at it (but it's tough to see tape condition in the pic.)

Is it missing fork decals? Seems like they had an Icon logo on the sides. There should be Lemond on the fronts of the blades, hopefully they're still there.

It’s all about presentation when selling. My Lemond was listed with horrible pics and no info. It sit for a week at $300. I changed a few things, adjusted the bar and seat position. Nice pics and detailed information. Sold it for $500 in two days.
