VeloBase.com down or gone?
 

I get a strange message when I try to get to VeloBase, are they gone? I certainly hope not. Tried different computers to make sure it was not me.

I got it yesterday too. figured my cache needed clearing...

Cleared everything, all browsers, but did not help.

just to make sure I am not missing anything, you are just going to velobase.com, right?

The owner is here on BF - Jon Fischer (?) IIRC. But I don't recall his screen name.

well that's a relief! now to figure out why we can't....

I've been getting the same error for a few days now.

Weird, I was in the other day too, Can't get in now.

That is the message I get. Two different network, three different computers.

Not working for me either.

Has not been working for me for several days now.

Hasn't worked for me for aprx. 5 days. I wonder if the difference is that @BrianHemp has an account there, and is probably rigged to remain logged in between visits.

Just checked, site can't be reached.

Down in The Netherlands for several days now! Not working.

A quick check shows that the domain registration is current. Checking the DNS "A" record and pinging the site shows DNS is working and the server hosting the site is up.

I haven't used nmap so I don't have any more detailed information.

Sounds like a simple crash.

Hopefully there are good backups of the data.

Looking into it! Hopefully it's just a server glitch that my hosting service needs to resolve. I have been looking to move hosting service, this might just be the push I needed.

I cannot get in either.

For the record, that is an awesome site. Many a problem solved there.
