Viscount gran sport

Viscount gran sport,
no death fork and wrong back wheel but the frameset is pretty darn light!

Just got home with it.

Looks like it has a conventional BB unit, too (another plus) but watch out how you handle the seat cluster "ears" those have been a known weak spot on most of these "fillet brazed" frames.

Nice pick up. One of those front derailleurs came stock on a 70s Sekine SHS 271 I picked up. It did a crummy job shifting. I picked up a second one used; it also did a crummy job. So I switched to a suntour FD which works fine. Hopefully your mileage will vary from mine.

ive read that much of the frame might be delicate so i am going to be careful.

i just like that 32s and fenders will fit no problem. Will put 700c wheels on it.

That's one reason why I like 60s and 70s era bikes with center pull brakes; they typically have a crazy amount of tire clearance.
