Collective Names

Recently, on the Australian bike forum it was suggested that the collective name for a group of Colnago's was an orgy of Colnago's.

Do you have a group of bikes that deserve their own collective name?

An orgy of Colnago's:

well, a group of falcons is called a cast.

not as cool as a "murder," but more appropriate sounding with vintage steel.

For you cat and bike lovers, you might as well call your stable a "clowder"!

A redundancy of threads?

(I thought we just did this one last month... but I wouldn't know how to search for it).

Teachin' the young'un manners. That's the way to do it.

That's just like one, a Rasher is a single slice. Also I think more care is put into Bacon making than Raleigh making in the 70's ;-)

A Fraud of Confentes.

jon c. 07-21-14 07:55 PM

My mistake. I always thought a rasher was a larger serving, but it's not a term used much in the US so I guess I've just always been in error.

Raleigh made some crap, but they made some fine bicycles as well. I love my 81 Team Pro.
